Another Queen Goes Away

Miss Ellie is dead. Lung cancer took her at 82. She rose to fame through the ether at a time before cable spread to everywhere. And what fame! Kindness, above all (but not always) is what she will be remembered for. Strange it is though, how immortality today is claimed not by ancestry or godly powers but through commercialized utilization of someone’s ability to affect lives by acting in a play.
