Donate Millions to Gaza Greenhouses?

Who will donate half a million dollars? The question is asked by the general manager of Al-Arabeya television channel. As the Israelis are leaving Gaza, they leave behind greenhouses that produce crops worth 70 million dollar a year. A former World Bank president has raised money to guarantee a transfer: Israeli owners has agreed to sell the property for some 40 million dollar; if not sold the greenhouses will be destroyed. But more money is not what the Palestinians need, says Abdul Rahman Al-Rashed, instead it is political unity under a leadership that ends the battles of the various factions.
