Former Iraqi foreign minister Tareq Aziz is due to walk free soon, according to his lawyer. Aziz spoke to his family on telephone yesterday, the first time in two years. His family is expected to visit him in prison soon. According to the presiding judge in the investigations of Saddam Hussein, Aziz - who was once number 25 on the coalition’s most wanted list - has witnessed against the former president. He is not alone: Barzan Al Tikriti and Hassan Al Majeed are also singing to the new masters according to the Iraqi Almendhar paper.
